Celina E. Contreras is an associate in the firm’s litigation group.  She focuses her practice in complex commercial and construction litigation.  Her broad range of experience includes representing clients in a variety of litigation matters such as multimillion-dollar construction contract disputes, securities fraud class action, copyright and trademark claims and defamation claims.  Ms. Contreras has successfully represented clients throughout state and federal courts in Florida at both the trial and appellate levels, including claims arising out of (i) the design and construction of private and public projects such as hotels, resorts and water desalination plants, (ii) fraud affecting the hedge fund services industry, (iii) the dilution of trademarks within the restaurant business, (iv) union hand billing on cruise line property, (v) the publication of newspaper articles concerning high profile individuals alleging defamation and invasion of privacy, and (vi) the misappropriation of trade secrets or proprietary information in the aerospace industry.
